I never knew I could look good in an asymmetrical skirt because of my short stubby legs. But I was quite surprised when I tried on this skirt and loved the flow of the chiffon around the legs.
I do have to roll it up a few times around the waist area to make the skirt shorter and put on some platform wedges, but this look is worth it.
And I am off to have dinner with my family. I did have to take extra care not to stain my top with Sweet & Sour crab sauce!
The cost of this look:
- Top: RM69
This casual top that I see so many petite girls wearing to work, with casual shorts or anything for that matter is finally available in PLUS SIZE! In sizes M & L.
If you are interested, they are available in limited quantities in Squareroom, Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya. Under the Plusify brand.
- Handbag: RM49
From I Can’t Sew, they are still available at POP, JayaOne, Petaling Jaya, for now. I just took off the strap I usually use to make it into a handbag so it looks more chic.
- Blue Platform Wedges: RM69
From Opera, Paradigm Mall, that is really comfortable & the wedges is not too taxing to my ankles which has been hurting a little from walking around in heels too much these few days. But I did not want to wear flats with this outfit, so this wedges really helped me balance myself better compared to a pair of killer heels.
- Simple Accessories: RM25 + RM5.90 + RM15
I put on a belt, which I think I could have done without, but I wanted to add abit of attention to the waist area, I also put on a couple of simple hairbands from Red’s Revenge (RM5.90 each) and a pair of earrings I purchased from Taiwan at RM15 each.
